If you are moving to Spain to work and need a vehicle to move around, you will have to know something about the requirements of buying a car in the country. 

Compared to most other EU members buying a new car in Spain is generally more expensive.  However, it would have a better resale value. Consequently, a used car also costs higher. In case you decide to buy a second hand vehicle get one that is not too old. To by a Spanish-registered vehicle you have to present a residence card or deed or a contract for rental of Spanish property, or an NIE number from the Spanish police.
